Our Industrial and Manufacturing clients have requested a variety of building types including concrete tilt-up systems, steel insulated panelized systems and basic steel construction. Since each system has unique benefits, we work with each client to develop the building type that will best fit their need and budget.

These systems have been utilized in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, wholesalers, distributors, printers, nurseries, maintenance facilities, warehouses and freight terminals. Many of these facilities also have a mixed use of office and production areas.

When it comes to pre-fabricated steel design and construction, what you get is often more than what you see. The dynamic nature of pre-engineered buildings is illustrated by the appearance and function of the “metal” facilities we have built for clients in the areas of light industrial, commercial, municipal and professional office complexes. Gone are the days when a metal building consisted simply of four off-white panel walls and a roof, and owners are becoming more knowledgeable each day of the cost and flexibility advantages of Behlen structures designed by WBC.

Our lines of Behlen Building Systems and Energy Panel Systems have been incorporated into multiple projects that combined this technology with tilt-up concrete or masonry exteriors and various roofing systems. Quite often it is difficult to recognize a metal building simply by looking at it.

In 2000, WBC’s design and construction of Land of Lakes Tile received the title of National Building of the Year by Behlen Building Systems. The very next year, our M&P Utilities project received this same prestigious award.
